Welcome to the World of measurements with NIMT!
The National Institute of Metrology (Thailand), or NIMT is dedicated to advancing science and technology. We extend a warm welcome to all visitors to the IMSA 2024 website!
Just like air, measurements and standards are essential to our daily lives, even though they often go invisible and unnoticed. Since its founding in 1998, NIMT has served as Thailand’s national measurement institute, providing the foundation for scientific and technological progress.
We play a crucial role in promoting and ensuring the quality of products from key national industries, such as automobiles, electronics, agriculture, and more. This includes food, robotics, logistics, biochemicals, digital technologies, and the medical field.
Through measurement services, along with technical support for small, medium and large enterprises, NIMT has helped raise Thailand’s industrial measurement standards to not only match those of leading nations but also meet international regulations.
Looking ahead, NIMT is committed to becoming a global leader in measurement science and technology. To this end, we’re proud to host the 1st International Conference on Measurement Sciences and Applications (IMSA 2024).
